Crown Vic power window doors vs manual hand hand crank window doors question.

Hello,

Has any one used manual handcrank window doors to replace a power window door? How involved is modifying/changing out the window mechanisms to make that manual door into a power window door? Also, are all the side glass the same for both the power window doors and manual window doors? Thanks. George

Assuming you are working on a box, 79-91, the glass is the same, power to manual. The doors are the same just drill out the rivets and swap in what you need.
Some earlier doors have several holes where the wiring harness goes. Pick the right hole and leave the rubber plugs in the other holes. WagonMan
