    Mustang rims inter change

Got a question, maybe someone here will know.... Will the 17 inch police steel rims for the 2007 PI's fit the new Mustangs? (Will they fit over the Mustangs brakes, hubs etc? and will the bolt pattern match) Haven't been able to find much info on this.... I have a friend that is looking to do a one off police package Ford Mustang, for show.... He owns a vehicle up fitting company... that puts the equipment on Police Cars... wants to do one for display for his company.... We have been trying to figure this out, but not much info on the web for the new mustangs yet....

    Tom....

They should, I know they put 17's on some of those Stangs. The bolt pattern is still the same too, I think. Tom got new Stang wheels for his Vic.

Yeah they should fit fine. The 05+ bullits on my dads 03 fit perfect on it.

They'll certainly bolt up; my only concern would be the backspacing. Mustang rims have a ton of it, while Panthers are happy with somewhat less. mrltd, for example, runs Mustang rims with spacers, though I can't remember how thick:

... so I expect 17" Panther rims might stick out an inch or two too far for comfort. Still might be worth checking out, though.

03+ panther wheels will work fine on 2005+ Mustangs.

In fact, Ford recently started remanufacturing the 2003-2004 Marauder wheel for use as a factory custom wheel option on the Mustang.
