    We Should...

    We should make a sticky topic that has a list of all interchangable body parts and interior parts from 1979-1991 Crown Vic, Town Car, & Grand Marquis.
    ::example::
    --Door--
    CV, LTC, MGM 1979-1991
    --Door Panels--
    CV, LTC, MGM 1979-1991

    Maybe some pictures of door panels from different years and such. eBay could be our friend for pictures quite possibly, then someone could upload them to ImageShack or PhotoBucket.

    etc. Maybe on the list tell changes and how you can "modify" something to fit. Such as a dash from a 1988-1989, I had to do a VERY slight modification to get it to fit in my 1981. For the radio trim I had to widen where the top clips latch into and then it fit fine.

    I am more than willing to do what I can to help with this project, and I hope you guys would be too.

    --EDIT--
    For seats you could also talk about how Lincoln Town Car REAR seats will fit right in ALL Crown Vic, Town Car, and Grand Marquis boxes up until 1994(+?), Front ones can fit to, if you swap 1979-1989 brackets to them. It makes me wonder if the front seats will bolt right into a 1990-1991 Crown Vic or Grand Marquis?

    I have decided if we were to do this, I would make a webpage for it, I have came up with this so far for the banner:-p.

    I would have add a title to the banner, which I am unsure what we could name it. I got all the car pictures from brochures I found online. Made a fancy background for it too. Need to get some more fonts too, I just reinstalled Windows recently.

      This might be more suited for a tech article for our budding tech section.

        Thats an awesome looking banner by the way. Think you could make something up for the front page of the site?

                  Yeah, I don't know when Id have time but I'd love to help organize some of the tech we have. And most of the suspension stuff applies to the 92+ crowd, with the exception of sway bar mounts.
