    Blacking out the lower body.

MeLikeyStripperChicks was the one who said something about it. I think his car has this done, but I did some photoshops of my car to see what I think of it. Overall I'm really impressed it looks pretty good. And most importantly it gives me a way to completely remove all of that rust on the bottoms of the doors and not have that half primer bondo job look.

                Me too.

And if that is that Desert Tan color... you know they only used that for 2-3 years...

                So I'd keep it, lol.

Besides, if you were to do the lower a different color, I'd go more with a brown. I think it'd match the scheme of the car more than black.

It'd be kinda tough to get it to look right since there is no moulding to help it out. If some of the body lines are quite right (I know mine aren't, especially the doors) you'd end up with it looking crooked.

But it would look better than a tan and gray primer job.

Needs some moulding, and no beige. Maybe grey or something would work better.

Ya, I have it on the Townie, here are some pics with the two sets of wheels:

However I still have the chrome rails with the door guard strips, it makes for a much cleaner border between the colors - in your case it might look kinda weird cause you don't have nothing like that. I really do like your car with the blacked out lower body, tail light bezels, and license plate frame, it matches the blacked-out front pretty well.

I don't know, I think a darker brown would look better IMO. But black out any chrome, cuz I don't like chrome unless it's a classic car. If I didn't suck at it i'd make a pic for ya. But it's your car, do what you want with it.
