    Trunk Lids

Does anyone know if the dimensions of a lincoln trunk lid and a mercury one are the same? They look close in pictures but I don't know measurements.

I wouldn't mind losing the ridges.

Go to the yard with a tape measure and measure the width and length of it. I'd be worried about the length of it.

its not for a 79-87 merc. At least the towncar trunk lid liner is too big to fit one

I suppose you could pull your own trunk lid at the 'yard and try installing it on a Lincoln, or see if the owner would mind a test fit vice-versa ... but you've probably thought of that already.
