    vinyl cleaners...mold on vinyl

    the tan 1990 vic i am gonna get has small spots all over ot of what looks like mold or mildew. is there a way to get that stuff off and clean it? just thought i would ask

    Simple green should work. I've also used scouring powder on a beater car. I don't think it hurt anything but Im also anal retentive.

      I've used simple green and a fairly stiff bristled scrub brush.

        what they said, almost any cleaner will work, even stuff designed for tub and tile bathrooms, just have to be careful about it eating paint. Simple green or those orange cleaners usually wont attack the paint. Scrub brush is key tho.
