There not bolts are there nuts in side the body how do I take it off

I contemplated replacing my tailgate, because of some rust issues.
I took a look at them hinges, and decided it would be a hell of alot easier just to fix the rust, and not even think about messin with them hinges.
And... it was.1987 Country Squire LX Wagon 5.0L: Daily Ride......1964 Lincoln Continental 430ci: Toy #1.
