I think you gotta slide it in the clips from the bottom first, then snap it on the clips at the top. Been awhile.. Just make sure you don't break the clips (if you haven't already) or else it won't snap in.

Nope, they were still intact. I pried them off and I'll buy some self-tapping screws tomorrow.
