aero headlights

are they easily/quickly replaceable, and whats the bulb # for the low beam?

An aero I *might* get "needs a new headlight" but the guy says he has one in the trunk. Im trying to decide if I want to try and drive this car the hour drive home at night, in that case Id want to replace the headlight on the spot and have a new bulb ready need be.

I dont want to be driving with a headlight out, along with no insurance and illegal tags!!!

Is it the housing or the bulb? Both are relativley easy.

9005 is the low and 9006 is the high. (or the other way I can never remember) the headlight housint is held in by three little clips, you can use a pair of pliers to remove them, only takes about 2 minutes once you know how to do it. If you need a new housing the ford dealer wants something like 180 each. Chris at ADTR quoted me $180 for both iirc.

well Im guessing the housing is broken, but the bulb may be burn out too if it got wet.
Ill be happy with used ones, Id just polish them up to like new.
