Found some panels for my floors...

..at the swapmeet yesterday. I have no idea what they're from, either did the guy I bought 'em off of. Maybe some foot plates off a firetruck or somethin? They're aluminum. I hope I can make 'em work...

So these are going to be bolted to the floors of your car, then?

Those would look great and cover the holes in my 53 floor board. Nice purchase!!

I really don't know how I'm gonna use 'em yet, cuz our floors aren't flat. I'll either have to try to shape them or make the floor flat with them in. They'll probably have to be cut, too. So I may not use 'em...but IDK yet.

Perhaps you could place them on top of the carpet and bolt them down. I would wait for a nice project, though, I do have a mini JY in my bedroom with parts awaiting future projects.

What carpet...there is none and won't be any.

and as much as I'd like to have an older car to play with, it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. So the Vic is that car, for me. Don't really care what other people think about it.

Ah, you got one of those cars w/o carpeting and w/o holes in the floor. You can do a lot with that. Reminds me of my first car; my parents junked it because of holes big enough to throw cans through.

No I took the carpet out, and found the holes. Carpet was shit so I threw it.

Those look like the footplates off of a late '60s to early '70s American Lafrance.
