    Good paint color?

    I live in small town USA, and there is a law against the color scheme of a car so its not like any police one (IE Sherifs colors), anyway after 500 bucks of tickets I repainted as ALL THE OFFICERS said:

    BEFORE

    AFTER

    I am still getting pulled over as my pain isn't matching perfectly and you supposedly can't have black bumpers :stfu1: I am getting harrested by many cops to the point I am going to save to paint it a good color... Whats a good color that doesn't look like a cop color or doesn't stand out (IE no red/yellow/orange/etc)?

    Here is that BS law I am now abiding by:

    IC 5-22-22-9 Indiana Law ----------
    Disposal of law enforcement vehicles:
    Sec. 9. (a) If a purchasing agency disposes of a law enforcement vehicle that is a model year of 1994 or after and is painted in a color scheme of more than one (1) color by transferring the vehicle to:
    (1) a person who will operate the vehicle on a public highway in Indiana, the person must repaint the vehicle in:
    (A) a monochrome color scheme; or
    (B) a color scheme that does not duplicate the color scheme of an Indiana law enforcement vehicle;
    before the vehicle is operated on a public highway in Indiana;
    (2) a person who will sell or otherwise transfer the vehicle to another person who will operate the vehicle on a public highway in Indiana, the person must repaint the vehicle in:
    (A) a monochrome color scheme; or
    (B) a color scheme that does not duplicate the color scheme of an Indiana law enforcement vehicle;
    before the vehicle is sold or otherwise transferred to the other person to be operated on a public highway in Indiana;
    (3) a person who will sell or otherwise transfer the vehicle to another person who will not operate the vehicle on a public highway in Indiana, the person is not required to repaint the vehicle before the vehicle is sold or otherwise transferred to the other person; or
    (4) another governmental body, the governmental body is not

    required to repaint the vehicle before the vehicle is operated on a public highway in Indiana.
    (b) Before a purchasing agency disposes of a law enforcement vehicle that is painted in a color scheme of more than one (1) color, the purchasing agency must provide a copy of this subsection to the prospective purchaser of the vehicle.
    (c) A person who violates this section commits a Class C infraction.

          Silver looks alot like an Old man car (No offense to those who have it - I'm not a big fan) but red like a burgeandy would look nice, still not very good... Hell I think black might still be the best idea, but then again if any of you know small town cops + nerd = fight's, then its all good. The whole thing is dumb in my mind but what you gonna do ( ) Anyone have some other ideas, maybe even a cool exotic color?

                Go with a dark charcoal. It is close to black and is not that silver. Obviously go with what you like, screw what others think.

                        Flat black. Rat Rod the bitch. You won't have any complaints from the fuzz then. Anything other than the Indiana po-po tan/brown, and you should be okay.
                        And don't forget to go to the World of Wheels Custom Car Show in Indianapolis Feb 9-11 at the fairgrounds. Best Custom Car Show I been to yet. I went last year. It'll give you some ideas of what to do with your car.

                            I'm way north west Iniana or I'd prolly come to that, I suppose even thought black is used by ISP, it'd still look nice, and would be one color, I think that just might be the way to go, because all the other colors are all cop colors (or stick out) so black is very conservative and should blend in more.

                            BTW - Enigma - You familiar with shaving door handles off? I wanna get some door poppers since I'm already doing some body work and repainting the damn thing.
