    Just a Few Questions

Taillights: Is there any way that I can just pry off the chrome pieces around the tail lights, or would I be better off just getting a new set of tails to continue my black out scheme?

Rocker Panel Trim: How exactly does it come off? Do I just need to pry it off? And what would be the best way to attach it to a fender skirt? I haven't gotten a chance to play with this, since the local junkyard doesn't like people pulling off the trim of decent looking cars (which all the boxes seem to be...).

Door: My one rear passenger side door does not seem to close completely...But still latches shut. When it shuts, it does not line up with the body of the car, but sticks out just a bit. I can press it in, but it just returns to its closed-but-not state. And when I'm driving, I can hear the thing bouncing all around in the latch. Any ideas? It's driving me insane...

Is the bushing gone on the striker for the door? Which trim are you talking about, the very bottom chrome piece?

The Rocker Panel trim...The black plastic with chrome insert that goes along mid-door.

          Okay...

          Rocker panel trim in question.

Chrome around the taillights; I'm not sure if it is a seperate piece that is removable, or if you can remove the lenses or what. I'm just not partial to the idea of getting two whole new taillight sections to black out what little chrome is there.

Ok in not sure about the lights them selfs but the piece on the trunk can be taken off but you would need to fill in the holes...... I know the trunks are not the same but I think the trim attaches the same way

The rocker trim will pop off, but there should be a screw in one end of it on the outer edge of the door. Behind it are studs welded into the door.

The taillights look to be one piece, I have a set I just picked up today if you want to see what they look like off the car.

And Boxman is probably right about the striker trim, look at one of your other doors when its open and you'll see whats missing.

Thanks Capri; but I've already popped the trunk piece off and blacked it out. Now I'm just worried about the taillights; as they are next in line.

Matt; thanks bro. I was playing with a single light at the junkyard; which still had a piece of the car itself attached....That's a lot to unbolt to get the taillights off...:bs:

I'll check the door tomorrow while I'm painting my skirts. Thanks guys.

Ahh that's not rocker trim, that's just side moulding. Rocker is the bottom, under the doors. There are 2 nuts holding it on each door, front and back of door. Then just plastic and metal clips holding it on. Fender and quarter pieces pop off carefully..

Ohh...Whoops, my bad. My bro has something similar on his Element; and that's considered Rocker Panel Trim by them...Ah well. Thanks.

And what happened to your sig pic boX? No more chop top?

Tape off the chrome on the lights, lightly sand and paint. I had to. Chrome is not removable on them.

Anybody know if the big plastic trim panel on my 93 TC has those studs behind it? Because I'd like to remove it. Thanks.
