The Cherry Bomb Black Out (Not Dialup Friendly)

Well, after getting some spare headlight bezels and a spare grille...I went to town with the Metallic Black Rustoleum.

    So here we go.

    Pictures before...

    The Black Out Pieces...

    Without any pieces...

    THE BLACK OUT!

And how it now looks at night.

Well...After doing this...I WANT TO BLACK OUT MORE!

I'm liking the raccoon look. It's not quite as black as the pictures pull off...It's like a very dark chrome...And it glitters when hit by a good amount of light. I think it turned out good.

It's one of those mixed opinion things. I think it would actualy look a whole lot better with the bumper painted body color. But looks good man. I had to warm up to my black out job. At first I thought it was ok, but I grew to really like it.

I think it would look better if they were darker, but if you like it that's all that matters.

Looks good, but i would only do something like that if my chrome was badly pitted

Looks good, but you have to ditch those nasty wire wheel covers. Run black steelies on it, it will look alot better!

I do like the wire wheel covers though...

Here's a thought that I was considering while tearing apart a GM in the junkyard...What if I take the wire wheel covers, and hit them with the same color?

Just go with steelies. Clean em up and they look really nice, like Boxman's Vic.

I can understand that, too. I left the wires on my Lincoln. On the right car they can look really classy.

But on the CV, given the choice between wires and bare steelies, I'll go with steelies every time.
