    Painting the bumpers and trim?

Anyone got a good idea of how to do it? Grill as well. What do I need to do to prep it.

Looks like I LEFT SOME THINGS OUT OR A BIT SKETCHY.

First sand blasted the chrome for a rough surface just dulled the surface a bit.

Then sprayed it with DP primer black. Not cheep but sticks like glue actualy it is basicly glue. Dont breath it in. Indoors use a real painters full mask. I did mine out doors.

Did a couple coats about 8 houres appart. Didnt do any sanding.

For a color coat I used Urathane Enamel. Also expensive but no color sanding is required so a bundle is saved in sand paper. Also dangerous to inhale. Sprayed it out side also. Urathane is also very restant to chiping and such and will last longer than ordinay car paint.

Did one color coat sanded down smooth the primer orange peals a bit. Second color coat came out smooth and glossy after drying with out any other work no buffing or such.
