    license plate light

I'm working on something (will have pics by end of week hopefully), and I need a new lighting for my license plate (stock never worked anyways). What would you guys say about something like this:

There are also the LED plate bolts, they do shine some light on the plate too. Frame with light is around $40 after shipping, LED bolts much cheaper. Or shall I go with some kind of neon around the plate, color options being blue, red and white? Suggestions are needed folks, gotta take care of that before I get pulled over

I don't know, seen plentyo of cars riding with the neons glowing like rainbows at night, cops don't seem to care too much. But yes, I like the frame with the light most too, so it's just a matter of saving up now.

Those neon light plates are illegal in Jersey as well. Its also not really possible to read the plate with those lit up, plus they are a visual distraction, which is why they aren't legal. I do like the LED plate frame setup tho.

The plate frame is on Ebay, they have several designs that kinda look like that, price is about $30 with the "Buy It Now" option.
