I'm going to have some bodywork done on my car and would like the paint they put on to be as true to the original as possible. I know they can colormatch with the gas cap and such but I really want to go by the original formula. Also I don't care how well it blends in with the old faded paint. They have have the Dupont color chip book at the place where I'll pick up the paint. However, my the information label on the drivers door jam is illegible so I cannot cross reference the factory code with the Dupont one to make sure they mix up the one I need. I've seen some cars on here with my color, can anyone with the same color give me their code info? The only information I have is that my car is 1986 (Canadian Produced) Grand Marquis, and the color is Medium Shadow Blue Metallic (NOT base/clear). Pics are below, Thanks in advance.
