None.
Finish your engine work and other stuff first, then work on the body.

If it's the picture in your signature, you should just save your money and drive that car into the ground, fixing only what fails.
Spend your saved money on a car that in better shape to start with. Best move I ever made...it just took 7 years to get to the point where I could buy a better starting point car. Only cost me $400 to start too.

Woopin some chevy butt with a car that looks like that would be cool it would smash there chevy pride in a big way, So I say get a cowl for room for the engine stuff. What is your plan for under that hood? and do you need more cooling/airflow? ...And for looks I think a 2 inch or 3 inch may look pretty cool.

Don't you need a cowl hood when the engine won't allow the hood to close?
What are you going to say when it's obvious that your motor is stock?
Like was said, build the thing first, then worry about the cosmetics. Plus it would suck to get a certain size hood, then have to get another one when the engine is finished and it's a little taller than you had planned. My car is a Shelby SVT Cobra GT Boss Grand Marquis Type R
