How do I get the tension spring's for the trunk placed in the right spot? One spring is on and the other is off. We have to use a broom stick and it is SOO imbarassing lol "Dude your car sound's so cool oh but your trunk is held up with a broom stick you might want to get that fixed" Thank you captain obvious

Did it by hand last time I popped one off. Took a lot of cursing, but in the end it was pretty easy. So spend 50 minutes cursing, 20 minutes staring, and about 2 minutes actually accomplishing something.
I need to make mine tighter in their old age....but I really don't want to spend another 50 minutes (times 2) cursing.Last edited by Blaze86Vic; 07-30-2006, 11:29 AM.

My vic was the only car to give me trouble adjusting the rods. I put a tow strap on the rod and pushed it in place while two friends pulled on it. Never had a problem with any other car, a one man job usually.Chris - A 20th Century Man \m/ ^.^ \m/
