hey this is great!! all this cool info about cfi's. i'been meaning to upgrade my cfi lopo motor. hey, i was wondering if couldn't be too much trouble if u guys could help create a list for the parts needed for this kickass upgrade.
my hp goal is 215-250 hp. hopefully not sacrificing too much mpg because im a daily driver with a 30 min commute going up and down these damn mesas and hills.

No one has yet done a full HO CFI upgrade that I know of.

I plan to, but time and money, and I have neither.

E7 heads, cam o your choice, headers and edelbrock sells a manifold designed for the CFI/two barrel carbs.

Those should get close to 200.

The guy I spoke with said our cfi's have enough fuel flow to support 400 HP, but the rest has to be right.

could this spacer work for a lopo motor in the mean time or does it have to be ho?

It appears it works on stock lopo motors. I beleive Scott has replaced some spacers during normal maintenance and has seen marked improvement.

quick question, i plan on keeping this cfi system. i wanted to know whats better in the long run a rebuild or remanufactured cfi motor. i plan on buying the 2bbl intake manifold from summit.com
will the spacer be included?
