I was looking to replace the 93 radio in the 89 wagon which is a premium sound vehicle.
I wanted to get a bluetooth, cd, hd, radio with aux and serial inputs plus radio station preset buttons and a volume knob. I have an Android phone. I thought they all would have come with scan but I have not found one yet. I talked to a Crutchfield tech who informed me that frequency scan was obsolete. I guess I can accept that 6 disk changers are obsolete but frequency scan?
Just to be clear, they all seem to have a single station seek mode but I was looking for an automatic scan which runs samples all available frequencies until you find one you like and stop the process.
The fellow suggested The Kenwood Excelon KOC-BT755HD. I read the manual which does not show a scan function.
Any suggestion folks?
I wonder if I could add a bluetooth adapter to an older stock unit?
