Hey guys, I think the switch in my factory radio is shot and I had a quick question. I have the "premium sound" package, but do not have a tape player. Can I replace my unit with a factory one with a tape player, or is the wiring different? Thank you for your time.

Should be the same wiring. My '90 has the cassette player from my '96 Thunderbird.

you should pull out your deck first and examine what kinda wiring you have since you mentioned preimium sound(there are 2 different amps used in these cars. most of the time the decks are the same and yes you can put in a tape player.
