The '93? You have those oval ones not sure what size they are.

Box is 5 1/4 correct. Yeah you can run 5X7s or 6X8s. Boxes are round Aeros are oval. Rear is 6X9.

The factory speakers are 6x8s. Most aftermarket speakers are 5x7s with 6x8 adapter plates.

I would suggest getting either components for up front or some Infinity References with the rotating tweeter.

my Box Panthers have 6.5" speakers in the doors. i didnt have to cut door neither.

They're also farther down in the door than the ones in the post-box era Panthers. I wouldn't recommend trying to put anything larger than a 5x7 in an Aero/Whale door anyway because that's just more speaker pounding into the inside of the door panel.

I'm just looking for stock replacements. I'm not planning to upgrade anything.

just by the cheapest speaker you find in that size then... it should sound at least as good as the stock one.

I've seen a couple replacement speakers on Sonic Electronix for $10/pair. They were RCA I believe... that means as long as you don't hook them up, they should be fine.

Pioneer 2 or 3 way swill work very nice in your application.

Yeah, absolutely. I'm an Infinity guy myself but all of their speakers now are 2-ohm. Those will really only work with an external amplifier.
