I kept playing with the calibration until it read 750-850 rpm for idle (in gear) and now it seems accurate right up to the 5200 rpm shift point.
Everyone thinks it's the neatest thing but nobody can tell me how in the world it could be accurate if it's not hooked into anything that a normal head unit wouldn't be.
