Some of the flashes have a different value. Could flash faster or slower depending. And one or both of them may be plastic instead of metal.
Also take mental note of the orientation when you remove the backside one.. can be a bitch to get it back in sometimes. The fuse panel plastic may crack on you depending on condition. Weird i didn't know this. Had to change my flasher when i put in new LED taillight bulbs but the hazards still work normally. Huh, learn something new every day...

I retain standard bulbs so I can keep the original bi-metal flashers. They make the right noise. I actually rolled several through the Continental to get one that produced the right flash rate and tone.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
