sending unit?

I have a carb 302 ltd vic, ive noticed that my fuel guage was stuck on the full line for a day, until it finally moved in between full and 3/4 today (after driving), the reason i find this odd is because its usually in between 1/2 and 3/4 this time around (i fill the car every two weeks for the last two years and the guage is usually at 1/4 when I do my refilling at the end of the second week, so basically what im trying to say is that the guage seems to be off to me, and my question is should i be concerned about this, and where can i buy a sending unit for a carbed vic,or GMQ. thanks for the help.

Put gas in it and see how much it takes. I think the carb’d cars got a 20 gallon tank (75ish liters). So figure that based on what your gauge says at fill up. If it takes 12 gallons (45ish liters) and your gauge was higher than 1/2, then you have a problem.
