My high beam lamps went down......

Today the special screws came in from Robinson Ford in So California.
Sadly the screws that are holding the lamp door on are totally rusted in:-(..........no easy-out will be able to remove them.
Looks like I will have to wait to bring the car to my buds shop and have him drill out the screws, I can hear him bitch now............"your pos is always a pita"......

Today had the car at my buds shop........turns out the headlamp door screws are mini torx.
That being said the f-ers were totally rusted in..........after several failed attempts, he had to use the special bit on a short extension attached to a power drill. The beech was that so little of the head was there to be able to seat the drill bit........had to push against the screw HARD......and the power torque of the drill finally broke them loose.
Proceeded to install the lamp then utilize common Phillips head screws.....which were NOS.OEM FoMoCo.
Now waiting for a NOS one wire wiper motor to arrive, purportedly in the original FoMoCo box.
