It was brought up elsewhere that there are possibilities of using a '92-'96 F-series instrument cluster in non-mechanical speedometer box panthers in order to gain a tachometer. Below are some measurements of a '91 GM cluster compared with the '92-'96 F-series cluster.
Overall width: truck is just under 15", panther is just over 14.5"
Overall height: truck is just under 7", panther is just under 6", both measurements at the highest points.
Nominal heights, not including the bump on the bottom of the panther and the extra lights on the bottom of the truck: truck is just about 5.5", panther is just under 5.25".
A comparison of the connection points for the indicators and the printed circuits.
