Qestion on 85 CV 2 door vinyl top.

My new toy, 1985 Crown Victoria 2 door has the half vinyl top on it. How ever it is toast. I know the 4 door Vics with the vinyl top don't have a normal trim around the rear window is it the same with the 85 2 door, vics. Being my vinyl is torn and crappy looking I was looking to just remove it.

Back glass is showing up the same from my source, so the rear window trim should be the same as well. 1988-91 sedans had the anodized aluminum trim you are looking for with or without vinyl top.

The b and c-pillar seams won't be finished, and it's probably not fully topcoated under there. You'll have some body work to do. Plus there is the trim at the bottom of the c-pillar. I stripped the paint on it, polished it, and reinstalled it to avoid paint blending with the quarter panel. But it looks better fully removed.
