Speedo Re-calibration gears...

    Vic posted in the second post an electronic corrector. It should work on your car.

      if 3.55s were added later... the original was probably 2.73 or 3.08 I'm guessing... so the output shaft is 8 tooth. You'll need a 21 tooth driven speedo gear to get the speedo correct with 3.55s and stock diameter tires.

          So you're familiar with that unit already.
          It works great for my '91 MGM.
          Kinda weird how the Panthers went electronic speedo in '90 but the Mustangs didn't go electronic until '94.
          Even an '80s digidash car would work with that unit.

            Yeah it's crazy how ford used technology....oh yeah sure mass air in stangs in 87-88...oh crown vic, nahh your fine....trucks..ha get bent..buuuut electronic speedo ok ok fine....now mustang stop complaining you got mass air and better heads!....trucks we gave you a 351w lightning now just be happy!
