    Actually it's dimming now. Maybe I just didn't notice. The LEDs don't tend to dim that much. THANK YOU ALL

      yes, LEDs can be put in backwards unless you get the nicer ones that are not polarized.

        Yes, some LEDs are polarity-sensitive. Usually the cheaper ones. Holds true for all aftermarket LEDs one can encounter in a vehicle, size and type seems to matter not.

          I didn't bother to check them because I figured how could I possibly install 5 of them incorrectly. The odds weren't in my favor. But it happened lol

            All good if it works then. The LED's don't tend to dim much, but the way the thing was designed originally it relied on current draw of the bulbs to drop voltage on the dimmer rheostat. Reduce the current by a lot, and it just doesn't drop near so much.
