One by the dizzy where its supposed to be,2:on the harness that wraps aroun to dist by the eec test connector,3:up on the firewall
Two have the plug in one doesn't.also some wires looped around right about where maf would be(if there was one I never knew about it)anyone know what's up?
I'm about to go out here and take some picks to post maybe u all can scratch your heads with me lol.

Sounds like remnants from added mustang harness you mentioned within another thread. Why a third though is beyond me. Things just don;t get done without reason....if it was a good idea to at least one person there must be a reason for it being there.....

I switched to my engine harness as the salt&pepper connectors were different(sorry I didn't mention that)all this came in the car lol.Still kinda trying to figure out what this crown Vic consists of,here's what it came with:E7TE cast block with non ho firing order,E6SE heads, throttle body was smaller than the one on this motor, but anyways never did have any get up and go,I mean it took its time to start spinning the tire when powerbraking, this one will start a burnout without even touching them, lol.but here are the pictures I was talking about,Thanks for the feedback look forward to reading/sharing more.

My blue '91 MGM has 2 functional SPOUT connectors. One at the stock location and the other over on the driver side fender by my remote mounted TFI module.

Looking through my 1991 EVTM, what I think you have:
The one by the dizzy is the SPOUT connector like you mentioned.

The one by the test connector I have also seen on mine and wondered what it was, but I never bothered to look into it until now. It kind of looks like a SPOUT connector with the plug/jumper missing (I don't think a SPOUT connector/jumper would actually fit in this one). I believe that is the Fuel Pump Prime Connector.

The one up by the firewall I'm not sure I've noticed before, my guess, going off of my EVTM, would be near the brake booster which would most likely be the Heated Windshield Jumper.

I've seen 2 before. The other one isn't actually a SPOUT connector, though I do not know what its for. Probably some optional crap that never happened or few of us got. maybe some emissions calibration specific nonsense for California, dunno.

Ford started moving the TFI modules to a remote mounting point in the engine compartment, away from the distributor to reduce failures from heat. some harnesses have 2 spout connectors. The spout connector on the fire wall is actually a timing reduction for high altitude vehicles since they run lower octane gas (86/91 octane) removing the spout connector will reduce timing advance by 2 degrees.

the spliced wires you referring to are fuseable links soldered into the harness. this is the way engine harnesses were made before they started using under hood fuse/junction box.

yeah, thats factory bullshit, not to be confused with Bubba bullshit.

Didn't know about the high altitude timing pull.
