    Finally got them to work!

Well the two side cornering lamps that were out for years are now working!!..........for now
So, do they actually do anything at night??.......or are they providing as much usefulness as the roof opera lights???

They only work when the turn signal are engaged. So it helps you to see the curb & or side of the road. The darker it is the more useful they are.

Being in NYC, with the exception of aesthetics, they are about as useful as mammary glands on a bovine!!

Useful in poor lighting, but thats it. Not a huge lot of light, but you can tell when they come on. Dmccaig's wagon has driving lights mounted in those spots so they are more useful.

Like jaywish said the darker it is the better they work. I dig 'em, especially on older cars. A good indicator the car isn't a stripped out base model.

As a Wisconsinite, I'd just like to point out that bovine mammary glands are pretty useful.
