Wiper control module is all that's left. Then you're down to wire chasing.

good question. I think it's under the dash to the right of the steering column, but don't take my word for it. some others have found that thing and know where it is.

The control module I believe only has to do with the intermittent functions. Might be wrong on that one though.
Can't really help you more with this. The only wiper failures I've ever seen on one of these were either the clip broke and let the motor disconnect from the transmission, or one motor that went bad. I believe these are ground side switching, so you should have a constant +12v to the motor, and the grounds switch through the speed selector. Make sure you have power where it should be. Beyond that, its either a broken wire, or a bad fuse most likely.
Dumb question but do any other electrical things not work right ? The ignition switch feeds a crapload of circuits and they are known to fail. Often you'll get multiple unrelated things that don't work though, not just one specific thing.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

ah... that makes sense. could be a grounding issue or some connector is open.

the windshield washer is switched hot, same + that the wiper motor runs from. Check your fuses. I have no idea what one it is, but it should be on a fuse. Towncar fuse locations aren't the same.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

been to that movie before. It really fucks with your troubleshooting to replace a part and have the same problem. Never seems to occur that the new part should have the same problem as what you removed, but it happens.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
