Wagon tailgate window moving around? Also driver window shudders?

    Hi everyone,

Two problems have developed for me recently: The tailgate window seems to shift to the right (pass side) and makes it tough for me to open the tailgate with it in the up position. Once it's open, i can push the window about 1/2 to 3/4 inch to the drivers side and it works great - untill i use the power window switch again. It seems pretty loose - is there a way to fix this? I think my driver door window is having a similar problem, it shudders pretty bad on the way down.

Also - on the tailgate, I can't lower the window with the key...i can raise it with the key only once it's down. is this likely just a bad lock cylinder mechanism? I cant seem to find this part anywhere?

    Thanks!!

Pull the cover off the tailgate and see if the bushing on the guide rod is in place. Same thing with the door window, but also check the felts in the window run. When thats missing or in bad shape, it rattles a lot. You can also shoot some silicone spray in the felts to help the window work more smoothly along with general cleaning and re-greasing of the moving bits in the door.

You'll need to open up and have a look inside to see what is in there though.
