Do I take the glovebox door off since it lives up above the glovebox somewhere?

Any further help would be appreciated, ....
    Anyone?

Not sure about the DRL module, I never messed with that when I did the headlight relay mod on my 91. Based on blkpnthr's post:

My experience so far is that if the DRL module is installed (with or without the presence of the resistor), the relays will cook themselves in this mod, so to be safe bypass the module if you have it. The post I linked documents this.
I would say remove the glovebox and take a look up there, it's just 3 screws along the bottom/hinge of the glove box to get it out.
I'll have to take a look at this on mine, and can grab pics if I get to it before you can, but so far I have not had any issues and I did the mod about a year and a half ago.

Well, I've been trying to get on here, but apparently the server is hamster-operated and some of the hamsters burned out...

DRL module, if equipped, is a small black box (about double the size of a normal relay) mounted on a metal arm thing, above the glovebox latch in the 90-91 dashboard. The metal arm thing is attached to the metal framing of the dash using one of the Torx/hex head combo screws used everywhere on the dash of these cars. I believe it's T-20.

Feel around and see if you find it. Supposedly some cars have a factory bypass like a cleaner version of what I made, so you'll either find the module or the bypass.

Remove module without building a bypass = no low beam headlights, so don't just pull it out and call it done.

Oh look, I took a photo. Take note of the latch position. The connector is held to the metal framing with one of those "Christmas Tree" fasteners.

Thank you kindly, I am headed out Chicago way this weekend for the 24 hours of LeMons race! https://www.24hoursoflemons.com/

Gonna see roughly 100-101 teams/cars out on the track. Taking brother + kids & my mom and dad.

Have rest of week off work paid vacation, then I go back to work for a week, then another week's vacation for Scottfest!

I'll finish up stuff after this trip and get some pics posted and such too. I just didn't know how to access the module whether it was as simple as dropping the glovebox. Thanks!

You won't need to "remove" the glovebox but you may need to "drop" it and let it hang by its hinge by gently squeezing in the sides to get it to swing down.

Report back with your findings, I'm curious to know if your car has a module installed or not.

Last weekend while fixing an issue with my trunk not opening when I pushed the button, I took a look to see if I had a DRL module in my 91 MGM.
(My trunk issue ended up being pinched/severed wires in the trunk, but I started at the switch and worked back.)
As I suspected I did not have a DRL module and I was able to get some pics of the stock configuration without the module:

The red arrow points to the christmastree clip holding the connector in place. I imagine that cars that have the module will have another christmastree clip to the right in one of the other holes there.

I would assume sxcpotatoes' car is the same, but it would be better to check and make sure than to end up buying new relays later.

Same here, no module red/green looped wires. Safe to go.

My relays were a five pack, so I guess I need another box to put a set in! 😆
