doing a 4g alt soon........they dont have a stator plug.....what do i do with the stator wire on the cars harness?

if i remember corectily i think the stator only goes to the tps don't know why though.. i'd say let it hang there.. but i could be completely wrong

dos'nt the stator plug just go to the voltage regulator. If you use the proper voltage regulator for the alt. you prob wont have to worry about it. If the alt is internally regulated (which im betting it is) then the stator wire on the car would go to the old voltage regulator, so now it would go nowhere.http://secondhandracing.com/Home.aspx

You know what? I do remember when we were playing with the Vic's harness that stator wire does go straight to the VR plug on the side. Deuce is probably right, its just internally connected.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
