Ok My brothers 87 Corwn Vic Tudor has this issue. He says, everytime he turns the lights on. the high beams come on and no matter what he tries, they are stuck on. I never heard of the problem. Anyone went through this??

This happened to my 86 Grand Marquis. There was a small metal piece that broke off. The signals/high beam handle pushed on it to switch between high and low. I had to take the steering column apart to get to the switch. I JB Weld the piece back together. It’s been about a year and it’s still working.
I would think an 87 Crown Vic should be about the same.Attached Files

Couldn't tell you. I knew when it happened to me. I work mid-nights and use high/low beams every night when I drive. Usually I can hear a click when changing back and forth. On this particular night I knew something happened because it felt different when moving the handle and no more clicking noise. Felt bad for the other drivers that night, but nothing I could do. Took apart the column the next day and found the broken piece. Good luck!
