Window motor question.

Morning everyone!

Got a question,

My RR window motor isn't working, I took it out of the door, and it's the magnets that unglued them self from the casing inside.


Instead of trying to aligne and re-glue the magnets on, and have them possibly come off in the future, anyone know if a window motor from another gen Crown Vic willl fit?


I have access to 2 Crown vics, ones a '94 other a '97, are the window motors the same?

aero motors definitely won't work in a box.

Did you check Rock auto yet? Last I looked they had Dorman window motors for under 20 bucks.

yeah dorman's are good, but I couldn't wait with my TC and bought a lighter weight motor (complete with gear and everything) at autozone. WOrks beausitfully now. Think it cost be 40-sum dollars with tax

Just in case anyone else reads this far down the thread there is a good sticky in the Interiors section on how to fix the motors or replace the bushings cheap. I did my passenger side rear and it works GREAT for less the $5 in parts, search:

Missed that, the video addresses the most common problem but won't really help in this case.
