Whatever parts store you use will be able to cross reference the wells number if needed.

Yes I am making the charge cable as sly has suggested.... I had to order the block from eBay.... But also had to order the stator plug pigtail from eBay as well... The boys at pep boys, auto zone and advance all looked at me cross eyed when I told them I need a stator plug.... ... So all I have to get now is the new mounting bolts as the alternator holes are non threaded.... The alternator I got was the 130 amp so I should be good....

Just make sure you put loom over charge cable, fasten it down snug to prevent rubbing, and secure the battery well too otherwise you'll still get a fire. I know from experience.

All done and it turned out beautifully.... The extra power and non dimming at idle is great.

Ok, great pics. Is there a recommended thread (by those who did the conversion) of the right way to do this. I know there are some threads that talk about it, but i was wondering which one is the go to for peopel that did it
