I bought this off amazon, it was all brand new and shiny, and came with the extra wire you are going to need.

I bought this, since i was basically adding a 2nd Solenoid to my starting system, I wanted to take a step towards preventing failure.

Since I was already had the car up on wheel ramps and removing the solenoid, I replaced the '88 vintage wire with a new 4ga starter wire.

    1. Remove the positive wire from battery, alot less chance of sparks and welding.
    2. Remove old solenoid.
    3. Remove old starter wire
    4. Route new one with trigger wire wound around it with zip ties.
    5. Install new solenoid.
    6. Put trigger wire "skinny red one" right TRIGGER side of solenoid.
    7. Place thick black starter wire left HOT side, and all the fusible links and what not.
    8. Remove old starter (curse at the weight and grease)
    9. Install new starter (admire the weight and clean shine)
    10. Connect trigger wire to the tab.
    11. Connect starter cable to starter.
    12. Connect positive battery cable.

Start at own leisure, admire the sound.

Super simple swap. add a wire, move a wire.
