    Window WIper Motor?

Okay, I seem to have a lot of questions these days. Are the wiper motors from the '79-'87 boxes the same as the wiper motors from the '88-'91 boxes? I am going to the JY tomorrow morning to harvest the front suspension from the '00 TC and might grab the wiper motor from the box TC as well. Thanks guys

from the looks of things... the wiper motor is the same in my 82 Mark as the one in my 88... so it probably is.

Grab the electrical connector from any wiper motor you salvage. Theres a tsb and a revised wiper motor for the panthers, revised motor came with a pigtail if needed. No idea what the revision consisted of or was supposed to cure, but better grab the works while out there anyway.

What he said. The motor changed sometime around 88 or 89. As long as you've got the proper connector, it's functionally the same. I think the early motor uses 2 plugs, the later one uses one.

Poking around rockauto, they have more wiper motor choices than car models. First, look up 1989 grand marquis wiper motor. Then look up 1989 crown victoria. Then look up 1990, both again. And look at 1988. Theres a few duplicates, but more alternate part numbers I was not expecting to see. The remanufactured ones seem to cover all the models, but the new ones, depending on which year and model you look at might save you a couple bucks.
