    Interior light issues

The interior lights work with the headlight rotary switch, and when either rear door or the tailgate door are opened. When either front door is opened up, however, the lights will not come on...BUT, they will if any of the other doors are opened up. First, it was when the driver's door was opened that they'd not work, then not long after, the passenger front.

Opinions??? Better yet, a real fix?

Sounds like an issue with the door switches (here the front doors).

yeah, probably the switches are bad. My driver's side front is shot. The only non-original switch? Driver's front, replaced with a genuine Ford part about 6 years ago. I think the lights have been out for at least 2 years now.

Finger bang both front door switches, I bet the lights will at least flicker. If so, they are bad.
