    Digital Dash messages

    I have a 1989 Llincoln Town car and after the car has been sitting a while and I turn the key counter clockwise to the accessory position, I notice two messages that pop up:

    Charge System and Oil pressure

    start the car and it runs for a little bit, the compressor for the shocks kick in than i turn it off after the compressor is done.

    I turn the key back on acc position and only charge system pops up, not oil pressure...

    What is this car trying to tell me???

    it does not make oil pressure with the engine not running. The alternator also does not work with the engine not running. Completely normal under those circumstances.
