my 88 and 82 have the intermittent wipers. Requires replacing the wiper control switch in the steering column and possibly the wiper motor as well. I can't remember how the thing is wired off the top of my head. May only require replacing the switch in the steering column.

2 speed was standard, 2 speed with interval wipers was the optional upgrade. Needs at least the switch and the delay module. Not exactly sure what else, but its probably not overly involved to tie in.

You can goto rockauto or somesuch and compare part numbers for wiper motors, if they are the same, you have yourself a swap only as difficult as locating the switch and control module.

How does delay/control module looks like?
