front fender mounted turn illumination lamp

When did the Grand Marquis transition from the fender mounted turn illumination lamp assembly that is forward of the front wheel to models without that lamp assembly? My '91 Grand Marquis does not have that lamp assembly however I see other '91's that have those lamp assemblies.

It wasn't a standard item. The fancier trims such as LS had them while others did not.

down low between the bumper and front wheel? That was an option, not a yearly change thing.

If you mean the nubs on top of the fender, those are aftermarket. Never came on a panther chassis that I'm aware of.

ok. I didn't realize those light assemblies were an option on certain trim levels.

          thanks,
