    Windshield Washer Pump Fix....

Having been without a working windshield washer since before last winter really sucks ass in the winter especially with salt.. I originally just hooked up a pushed button to when it stopped working last year and it worked for a while until the motor completely shit the bed and then I had to use a spray bottle Haha.. Never using it in the summer and putting it on the back burner since we had like only an inch of snow so far this winter my friend finally made me go get a new washer box when we went to the Junk Yard last week.. So I got the nicest one they had took it home cleaned it up and yesterday we tested it and this motor is also shit.. upon further inspection my friend noticed the motor is removable ( I never knew, thought they were molded in) so he took it out and wondered if AutoZone would have it.. and yeap sure enough they make replacements... So we went and picked it up for 11 bucks threw it together hooked the button back up (temp) and Presto it works.. But next week Im gunna go to the junk yard and get another multi function switch because the switch is just temporary..

Heres the Part.. Maybe Im the only one but I never knew they made em

btdt a few times already. Upgrade to an aero tank and pump... those things push a crap ton of water compared to the box tank/pump. My Mark really likes it's setup. The 88 is left wanting a bit, but it works.

stupid question: where the heck is the pump? is it behind the reservoir?

Usually under the reservoir. One would think the dynamics of fluids would dictate it would always be there.

yeah... they're gravity fed... so they're on the bottom. They are held in place with a kind of lock washer. Needle nose pliers or a hook pick are needed to get them out. A small flat screwdriver will work too.
