Needed - wiper governor for 1984 Grand Marquis

    Hi,

I'm still trying to find a wiper governor controller / module for my 1984 Grand Marquis. My GM came w/ 2-speed wipers only. I found a NOS intermittent switch on eBay but I'm having a hard time finding the matching governor w/ harnesses. From what I've read the correct governor covers several model years / models of full size Ford autos and is plug and play. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

So you are looking for the governor for a car with intermittent wipers? If so I have one. Get back to me if that is true and I will post pics of it. Works 100% as well.

      Intermittent wiper governor

      Hi David,

Yes, I am looking for an intermittent wiper governor for my 84 GM (# E5AF-17C476-AA I beleive). I found a NOS intermittent switch on ebay already. Maybe you can educate me here on where in the heck the governor is located. I'd traced the harness back from the switch and for the life of me I don't see the governor and the short harness out to the wipers.
Any help on how to find / access the governor would be appreciated along with the photos. Thanks again!
