If I did the math right, I think I can squeeze 4 strips in there, netting 72 SMD style LEDs, which are bigger/brighter than what are in the current LED dash strips.
The strips are going to be pretty much right behind the lense (using some used Landau clears), hopefully the lense will disperse the light a little still.
Im still up in the air to whether I want to wire them like 'normal', dimmer for running lights and flash bright for signals; or to run them bright all the time like DRL's and have them blink off with the signals.1997 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series - Charlene

Aha. Sweet. I might ditch my sequential turn signal idea in lieu of LED tails.
I reckon I could have one lead powering 1/3 of the 'plate' and another powering the other 2/3, then switch the taillight pigtail to a H4-style.
Question though, when you hit the brakes, are BOTH filaments used or just the high?1997 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series - Charlene
