    help, no dash lights

MY 89 Town car has no dash lights. I have checked the fuses and even replaced the headlight switch with no luck. I have all other lights just no dash lights. It is the analog dash. Any hidden fuse or ??? any ideas???

    Thanks

Just to confirm, do your running lights work? (amber lights front, tail lights rear). If they don't then you have some wiring to repair at your headlight switch.

Its highly unlikely that all of the dash lights went bad at once. One dead one sure but not all 8 or 10 or however many bulbs are in there.

There should be 2 fuses I believe. One is a 5 amp fuse for just the dash lights, its between the dimmer and the bulbs. The other one should be the fuse that works all the rest of the running lights. If the running lights work, but the dash lights do not and the 5 amp fuse is good, the problem has to be at the switch, or in the wiring around it. Theres a terminal that often burns out on the headlight switch in the back corner. If thats melted, it could explain this.
