      i have a question is there any other place to put the temp sender screw in. I tried putting the probe in the old temp sensor hole but it hits the wall of the nut. i looked for adapters and can't find any.

        hits the wall of the nut? what ? the port in the intake is either 3/8 or 1/2 NPT, probably 3/8. Depending on the gauge you have, the sender could be a number of different things, but most likely you're gonna end up in the plumbing section of Home Depot looking for stuff.

            Yup, one of the adapters you have in the pic will fit the intake, then the nut on the probe goes into the adapter.

              yeah one of those adapters fit but wont go on all the way becuase of the coolant pipe being small so we can fit it in the hole but it moves easily and i might lose fluid becuase it can't get and tighter. I need a version of this adapter but longer.

                    what is that other probe thing you circled for then i don't want to get rid of stuff that eec iii relies on.

                      For your dash idiot replace engine light. It is a coolant sender specifically for the idiot light.

                            It's a coolant sender. No oil pressure light. Oil pressure gauge is something different, and goes in place of the thing in front of the oil filter.
